About Us
North Tyneside Bangladeshi Community Association & Mosque (NTBCA) was originally formed in the late 80’s to promote the teachings of Islam to the local community initially from small house. As the local community grew we needed a larger space so moved to a new building in the early 90’s nearby in which we currently operate from to this day.
Our aims
To provide quality educational and cultural programmes primarily aimed at the Muslim community in the English & Bengali medium, but open to all faiths and backgrounds.
To engage with other communities in North Tyneside with view to increased community cohesion and mutual understanding;
To make positive contributions for the wellbeing of all members of our diverse local community;
To seek cooperation with other organisations sharing our vision.
